​In April 2025, Nat and Johanna purchased Altitude Bikes, a perfect complement to the Alexandra Motor Lodge.
Whether you’re after the power of an e-bike or the classic feel of a standard bike, we've got you covered.
From your home base at the Alexandra Motor Lodge, you can set out on some of New Zealand’s most iconic cycling trails – the Otago Central Rail Trail, Lake Dunstan Trail, Roxburgh Gorge Trail, and the Clutha Gold Trail, or simply enjoy one of the many scenic local day rides.
Need a lift? Nat is ready to shuttle you and your bike to your chosen starting point, so you can ride at your own pace and soak up the stunning Central Otago landscapes.​
To book a bike, add a note in your booking that you would like to book a bike and we will have it ready and waiting for you when you arrive.
